Paisei for e delay... kinda busy these few days. went out on Saturday with korkor and piggy for awhile and then went to JB yest to highlight my hair and went to bugis to cut my hair... muaahhaaa... lots of stuff to tell u guys abt korkor's auntie-ish behaviour! lolz...

anyway, to round off this year's Oz stay, i m uploading the more photos on my inverloch trip. e one which made me damn pissed with some hypocrites but well, that is past stories and hopefully, i wont be facing such stuff nxt year.

anyway, in case some of u guys ve forgotten, getting senile, like korkor and piggy who are always forgetting stuff... (-.-"), i went for my rural attachment in end July. went to inverloch which is supposely to be a seaside resort area... apparently, it was some caravan park. damn cold cos e winds are always blowing frm e sea and e cabin shakes in e middle of e night and heater is a must for a good nite sleep... :(

i went to e fish and chips shop somewhere near e bridge where u cross over to philips island (ring any bells? went there at e start of e year for my transition camp and went to watch penguines!)...

apparently, e shop owners feed e pelingans (dun know how u spell tat lah, shall call it e big bird lah... lolz...)...

so e suangu singaporeans were all busy watching e big birds and there are really big lah!

dun think e birds are really toopid and dun know anything lor. they do know quite a bit of stuff like they know tat e staff will feed them everyday ard 11-12 noon lor... so they will start loittering and walking outside e stall lor! damn smart rite? lolz...

and apparently, they do know when there are ppl who are trying to catch them.

cos e bird with e injured wing caught e attention of some animal welfare organisation, smth like our SPCA lah... so e ppl came and said e bird had to be put to slp cos e wound is too big and e bird is gonna die liaoz...

so they had to ask e staff to cooperate and feed the birds, distracting them, before e animal grp ppl go and catch e big bird... and e big bird cant fly away anyway cos of e injured wing...

wat was interesting was that they had to hang their sch bags outside e classroom during lesson time! cool rite?! but i prefer it to be with me though... lolz...

Story 1
In the past, when piggy was still fat, I mean fatter than now cos she has just lost xx kg (cos she forbids me posting e amount of weight she lost...) over past 1 year!!! Congrats! But she shall still be called piggy.

Anyway, when we walk past some stalls selling slimming products, they always aim her among the 3 of us and will ask if she wanna look at their slimming products! LoLz...

Story 2
This one is damn hilarious...

X was walking around this pharmacy with his ex-gf. He was then targetted. Since he has balding problem, the salesgal asked if he wanna take a look at their air growing products. Upon hearing that, his gf started laughing like hell. Guess what? The salesgal then asked if she wants to take a look at pimple creams. (cos her face got pimple problems lah)

This one really classic lor! Damn hilarious rite? Muaahhaaa...

My Story
I was at the pharmacy the other day. And the lady asked if I want any health supplements and I flatly rejected. She then asked "How about creams for dark rings?"

WTH?!?!

Well, my dark rings are smth that wont go away lor. And I am not dumb to buy ur products lor! I shld tell her, are u using the product? Cos then, the product is NOT working!

LoLz... cos they love to aim ppl's weakness so we shld all attack back! Argghhh... Pissed...

Yup, it's my birthday today and thanks to everyone who wished me early this morning, very very early...

All the packing as well! And I need to reformat my lappie! LoLz... Cos it's kinda lagging and always having some error msg. Might as well just reformat it and install some new programmes... lalala...

Anyway, I will be enjoying myself with all the TV shows and movies I've downloaded from Mannix's network... Haha... Shall watch Lost Season 3 first... Din ve e chance to watch tat during sch term... Scrubs, House, Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, etc etc etc... Muaahhaaa!!! Lalala! Happy! Exam's over!!!

Soon, this year will be coming to an end. Wow, time flies... And X'mas is coming! Had a great time last year, wonder if I will get to ve great time during this year's X'mas...

Anyway, X'mas in Aussie is nicer than in Singapore... They celebrate it in a much more elaborated way but they dun ve nice lights like we do in Orchard... But they sell heaps of nice cookies in the supermarket! But not very cheap and I ve a tight budget though... Haha...

For the first time in this year, I can really say Exam's OVER and I can have a REAL BREAK!

The mid year break wasnt a break since I had to prepare for my exams in July which was cocked up cos it was supposed to be in end of the first sem, early June.

It's kinda strange. I was looking forward to the end of exams so much before the exams. Once it was over, everyone felt kinda lost, dun know where to go or what to do. Before exams, everyone was dying to go to the city after exams. However, when the paper was over and we were at the city, we din know where to go or what to do and felt kinda sianz... Ermm... (-.-")

Well, at least I can look forward to my upcoming Vietnam trip with my mum and Starcruise with korkor and piggy! Haha, judging from last year's taiwan trip, think it wld be very fun this year! Haha!

I went to read last year's Taiwan trip entries again a few days ago and I cldnt stop lauging at my own jokes. Sound damn dumb but it's really funny! I recommend u guys to go and read again. I wasnt aware of that until mid of this year when I was going back home with some of the meddies. Iris and Shuyu were the ones who told me. Anyway, I was sorta excited when I heard that cos I was deprived of cup noodles for so long! Not that they dun ve cup noodles here... they do, just that they dun ve tomyum flavour ones and they are damn ex here...

Anyway, so, the moment I board the plane and it set off, I asked for cup noodles. The lady gave me chicken flavour one and I was sianz diaoz lah...

Anyway, Eugene then saw me taking and he asked for the same and the air stewardess asked what flavour he prefers! Damn it! !@#$%!#$^#^$"!@#$%!#$^#^$^#@

He gotten Tom Yum one! Pissed...

So I passed my chicken one to Shuyu and I asked for Tom Yum one. TO MY HORROR, They ran out of cup noodles! WTH?!?!?!?!

Utterly pissed off!

Back to the story, so when I headed back to Singapore in Sept, I asked for Tom Yum noodles when I boarded the plane! And guess what? They ran out of Tom Yum noodles and I had to settle for seafood noodles!

I am so so so damn pissed!

Argghhh...

But well, at least the second time, the air stewardess and air steward were VERY VERY VERY nice and their service was really superb. Well done, SIA! Qantas, ur service sucks... Only ppl like korkor will like it... tsk tsk tsk... but well, Qantas full of Aunites as their air stewardess and korkor has a very unique taste so well... Muaahhaaa!!! Lalala...

It's a well known fact that Singaporeans are kiasu. But, apparently, Australians are that far away either. I would suppose they can match up to our standards seriously. At least when Singaporeans are kiasu, they still sort of queue, except for the infamous aunties snatching for cheap stuff.

Anyway, I witnessed the most kiasu Australians over the last weekend in Mannix.

As you know, my food is provided by Mannix. Over here, they seldom provide fresh cut fruits. What is available would be the boring apples, pears and oranges. You can take as you like. Sometimes, bananas would be available but they won't be there long cos everyone snatches it.

Last Sat, I went down for my lunch. Sometimes, they serve cut fruits on weekends' lunches. It wasn't the first time I've seen the ugly side of Australians but this time was really bad.

I saw the fruits which the kitchen staff was dishing out and was walking towards it. I can tell you, the Australians were like hungry ghost seeing food. They dashed out from their seats and ran towards the fruits. In fact, by the time I reach the bar, which was about 3m away, everyone was snatching the fruits! They were like just grabbing the thongs and 'giab' all the fruits they could irregardless what what they took!

Sounds familiar? Sounds like those aunties snatching for free/cheap stuff isn't it? But these ppl were youngsters! OMG!

Seriously lah! Don;t be so deprived as to run towards it and grab everything you could!

Sigh...

E.g
Smart ppl will mingle with smart ppl. Just look at Singapore, the schools we enter are based on our academic results and naturally, ppl we hang up with will be of similar intelligence.

Doctors and lawyers hang ard their peers more often too...

Rich ppl hang up with ulta rich ppl, hoping to get even richer...

Next, good looking ppl often hang up with good looking ppl. Actors hang up with actors isn't it? Well, or at least tats what i think. Not that all actors are good looking but they tend to be of better looks lah...

Now, the question of the day...

If we hang around ppl of similar looks and intelligence level, WHY I END UP HANGING ARD WITH PIGGY AND KORKOR?!

Firstly, I realised someone from Monash Uni is checking up on my blog. This person actually went to google my name!



This person definitely knows me cos he/she googled my full name. This makes me so curious!!! Argghhh.... Gosh... they shld ve e function to let me know who is googling me! So curious but there's nothing I can do to find out!

Hmm... maybe a secret admirer?! Muaahhhaaaaa!!! Must be lah... Muaahhhaaa...

Another thing was I received this invitation to join Facebook. Well, this isn't very strange cos this wasnt the first time I've received such invitation. (Yesh, I know... I am kinda obsolete... I've not joined yet... I MIGHT join in the holidays lah...)

The strange thing was, I do not know this person! Who is Ryan Yan?! He looks Chinese to me which makes it weirder cos the possibility that I SHOULD know him would be increased by that. Next, the invitation was sent to my Monash email! That is so strange lah!!! And I dun recognise who is this person base on the picture! Damn it...

Well, after knowing more info on this Saga, I have a few opinions which you guys dun ve to agree. When I say that, it simply means, shut the fuck up and dun spam me if you disagree with me. Voice your opinions nicely and they will still be noted so dun come and @#!%@#$^%#!$^ and expect me to listen to them.

Firstly, I would say they weren;t really bullying the old man, Mr Lee. Well, I saw someone who commented that Mr Lee looks like Lao Lee (MM) and I burst out laughing straight away! No wonder I thought the man looked so familiar! Muaahhaaa!! That brightened up my day a bit.

On the serious note, I din feel that they were really bullying him and I do agree it's more of insensitivity. However, what made me furious was cos they were such ***tards who made him pedalled so hard and they refused to pay anything. That is what pisses me off.

Some idiot defended themselves (Whites) and said we are making a big hoohaa cos it's Whites 'bullying'. If it was some asian guy, we wld not have had reacted this big. Well, that is partly right and wrong. I would say we would be pissed no matter who did it. But we are ESPECIALLY pissed cos it's someone from ANOTHER country who did this to our fellow Singaporeans. Not so much of skin colour. Seriously, if it was some Bangla or someone frm China, I'm sure we would have had responded in this way.

I din like that counter-argument cos it shows that they are simply insecure. They feel that all Asians dun like Whites. Seriously, it's rather well known that Caucasians always look down on Asians and now that Asia is rising, with that insecure feeling of yours, dun be so quick to defend yourself and accuse us saying we are bias. It's only normal to be angry when you see foreigners bullying your own countryman.

Anyway, I do agree that many Singaporeans are over reacting with some making death threats or violent threats. That is really not needed. They did not physically abuse the old man. However, having said that, that doesn't mean what the Brits did is alright. Some idiots made fun of us saying they do these to old ppl all e time and if what they did warrant breaking of limbs, many of them wld be dead.

Well, indeed, we have very different cultural values. It may be common to see ppl doing such acts in Britain, which I'm not sure if that is smth to be proud of, that doesnt make it right. Many wrongs doesnt make it right.

And, I realise some idiots was saying it was a rip off to charge 10bucks for 100m. I always hate it when idiots talk before they knowing the actual fact. A 10min ride covers more than 100m even with that speed. And it's not a rip off and here are why I think so:

This is not China or Thailand so idiot X, dun assume we have the same standard of living and comment this is a rip off cos of ur ignorant experience in other countries.

This is Singapore.

Based on your ignorant idea, everyone in Britain rips off customers cos what ppl can get in some eastern europe countries is way way cheaper than what ppl can get in Britain for the same item!

If you want to compare cos China, Thai and Singapore are all in Asia, why not compare Japan to China since they are way nearer than to Singapore. I'm sure Japan is WAY more expensive.

Also, as we all are aware, tourist attractions come at a higher price. Not cos we are bias and charge tourists at higher cost, but that is how things work, at least in many Asian countries I've been. Maybe Britain have a very unique way of life but at least in Asia, things at tourist attractions come at higher price.

No one, or very very very few Singaporeans, will take trishaw. They're there for the tourists. And, the price they are charing isn't that much. 10bucks for trishaw is expensive? Try taking those carriage driven by horses in Australia. I'm quite sure you will never find smth that cost 10bucks (abt 7-8 A$).

I really dun know why some ppl are making it sound as if what the 3 ppl did was alright. No doubt they werent bullying and some of the Singaporeans are over-reacting with the vulgarities, what the 3 ppl did are in fact wrong. It shows the kind of moral standards in British society nowadays. Well, if you guys are proud of that, we gladly accept that fact.

I wasn't aware of the big hoohaa over 3 infamous brits and what they did in Singapore!!!
