Edison Chen will be coming to Singapore!
Edison Chen is said to be paving his road to return to the Hong Kong entertainment industry, when he was seen recently modeling new apparels for his fashion brand Clot Inc. According to sources, he will be releasing a new album in mid 2009 and is currently recording in the studio. Movie "Sniper", in which Chen is a male lead, will be screening in cinemas around Easter and his artiste management company will be arranging for him to be in Singapore for a series of promotional events.

Chen announced his withdrawal from the Hong Kong entertainment industry early last year after his private and intimate photos with several female stars were illegally disseminated on the Internet. Since then, he had been residing in the States and has been to several Hollywood auditions. As the entertainment business was still unreceptive of Chen, he focused his fashion business, constantly sourcing for new partners and designing new products for Clot.
In conjunction with the inauguration of the new American president, Barack Obama, Clot has also launched a series of T-shirts with prints inspired by the US dollar notes. Fourth president of the United States, James Madison's portrait on the US$5,000 note was replaced by Obama's. The T-shirts which costs HKD$580 (approx. S$116) are endorsed by Chen.
In addition, according to reports, movie "Sniper" will begin screening during the Easter holiday in Hong Kong. Media Asia is currently arranging for Chen to go on a promotional tour to Taiwan, Malaysia and Thailand. Spokesperson of Chen's artiste management agency, Rich and Famous Talent Management Group Limited, said, "Edison Chen has many opportunities to travel around Southeast Asia to promote the movie Sniper. The company is also making arrangements for some commercial events. Many Mainland advertisers are also looking for him to do promotions. We hope he can return to the China market, but details have yet to be confirmed and we cannot reveal too much."
The talent management company is also currently making arrangements for Chen to do commercial acts in Singapore soon.

Eden Lake
Piggy wanted to watch this show based on a movie review.
The moment the movie started, I sort of regretted watching the show. Probably it's been a long time since I last watch horrow movie, I dont enjoy watching horror as much as I use to.
Eden Lake is not a horror based on ghost or supernatural but rather, it was based on human violence on how these few kids tortured this 2 adults-holidaying couple. The way the kids tortured the guy was so digusted and the way he did it was no different from the terrorists. It was alright outrageous and disgusting. So much that piggy was so shock. I dislike the ending so much and disgusted at it. I actually felt so nauseated after the whole movie.
My advice is, if you have a weak heart or cant take gruesome images, dont watch the movie.

Random facts first. Piggy gave me a page from My Paper which allows me to claim a $10 voucher from Sephora for the first 500 customers. Felt that Sephora wasnt really sincere in giving that voucher, don't you think?
1. Sephora only posted this promotion on My Paper but not Today when it is quite obvious that My Paper has a FAR smaller reach!
2. Sephora chose to post this promotion on Monday when not many people will be able to claim the voucher since a. school holidays has ended b. most adults are working!
So Piggy and I were super KS, thanks to Piggy's Auntiness within her! She told me to go asap cos only first 500 customers were given the vouchers. In the end, when we arrive, the stall was quite empty. Also, only house brand items were claimable using the voucher. Haiz...

After the ups and downs over last week, I am moving on. I choose to ignore and learn to let go.

Friends Forever...
The past few weeks has been emotionally exhausting during several moments. From best friends to almost strangers, all within a year. Emotions swang from anger, inpatience, disappointment, happy, disgust to eventually apathy.
What used to be best friends forever has turned into one who you probably walked past without acknowledging on the streets. What an irony. To think you once thought that this person would be your best friend forever, one who you would entrust with all your secrets and emotions. What an irony. Now this person has hiden so much so much from you and replaced them with endless lies and excuses. What an irony.
This person eventually betrayed your trust with lies and excuses and eventually evicted you from the his inner circle. All sorts of denials, excuses, lies, all of which can no longer hold or hide the truth. With technology so advance, what you do or say online can easily be accessed and hence, all the lies you once make falls apart. With no effort made in attempting to explain, it says a lot of the person's effort in maintaining the fragile friendship you once claim to be everlasting.
Perhaps, I should be contented cos all this time, I still have one best friend with me, one whom I really trust. One whom has been selfless and accommodating to all my nonsense at times. One whom is always there for me. One whom cherish me. One who accepts me for who I am. One who is generous. I should be glad and move on. Indeed, I am coming to terms of how fragile human relationships can be and how people can be so flicker, so.... Once I'm done with that, I will move on and I know Piggy will be there, friends forever...

Gathering Time!
It's been a long time since I met up with ZR. The last time we met was like last yr. This ZR, as usual, always rushing back home for dinner!!! Haiz...
I still rem last yr we met up for lunch, the day when my old/x fren happily walked out from piggy and I. Anyway, back then, our MR ZR also said he had to rush home for dinner so we basically only met up for about 2 hours for one whole year!
This year, we met up at JP new extension. Once again, after lunch, he rushed home to have dinner again lah! -.-" But there is some improvement cos this time, we met up for about 3 hours! WooHoo! Haha...
Anyway, we took the picture outside JP like the tourists etc... Haha. See ZR, trying so hard to look taller than me! Haiz...

Sigh... Only a few more weeks left. I will be flying back to Aus on 30th Jan. Then I will have to start my placement at the hospital. No idea what to expect which is why I kinda nervous about it. Hope it will be a good experience.
This trip back has been filled with rest, plenty of resting, Fats, plenty of it that it is drowing me. Sigh...
I have probably met up with all my friends thou I would have had wanted to meet up with some a bit more. However, I've also learnt to let go during this trip. It's probably good to know someone truely rather than being hidden in the dark for such a long time. I've enough of all excuses and I know none of it is true. So much lies have hardened me.
Some friends, I'm glad to continue meeting up and though it takes a fair bit of effort but I am sure it's worth it thou sometimes it can be frustrating.
This time back, suddenly, I feel so old cos all my frens are talking about marriages, work, work and work. Glad I'm not working yet. On relationship frontier, my record card is still empty :(. So no point talking about marriage. LoLz... Sigh. Feel so old. Guess I will have to start attending wedding dinners soon. =(

Resolution on MC
I have set a new year resolution for the year which is to be less mean to people lah. But, that resolution went on MC yesterday you see. LoLz...
I was supposed to meet Na, Doreen and Sihui yesterday, going to Sentosa to cycle. age is catching up on them so soon, that the 3 of them dread doing outdoor activities alrd lah! OMG! Only 23-24, alrd so auntie/ah soh lah! They kept pestering me to change the plan to go KTV, settlers cafe or buffet! Haiz...
Anyway, coincidentally, Fang Soh was meeting her frens to play beach volleyball at sentosa too! So, my conversation with her went like this:
Me: Oh no! I dont want to see you at Sentosa lah! Later you see me dun call me har! Haha...
FS: I muz call up to you lah!
Me: Hmm... but are your chio frens going? (She has some frens who are quite chio which I saw when she showed me their pics. We were discussing who and who were chio. LoLz.)
FS: Wah, only want see my chio frens.
Me: Ya lah!
FS: And they wearing bikini wor!
Me: Good! =) But, u ah... haiz... my eyes only see pretty stuff. So later I look at the court, I will just happen to miss out on you. Blind spot lah! Haha... But hor, this blind spot so big (cos blind spot are supposed to be a few mm which she obviously is much bigger than a few mm... lolz), blocking my view on pretty stuff!

Super Sway
Yesterday was the swayest day since I am back for more than a month.
I was supposed to go to NUH for my doctor appt regarding my asthma management. Asthma has been flaring up since I am back, partly cos I ran out of my preventer medication since I left them back in Aussie.
Anyway, I drove there. Parking alone took me almost 25 minutes cos the carparks at NUH were all full! I had to wait for a long time before getting a lot. Then, I walked to clinic D where my appointment was supposed to be at. I asked about paying using my medisave since Asthma has just been added to the list of chronic illness which can utilise medisave to pay off the bills. Then, the nurse asked me for my IC and I realised I left my wallet at home!!! Damn!
Having no other choice since I will need to pay off my bills irregardless of what, I drove back home! The carpark fee was $1.20 even without seeing the doctor yet! Damn!
Then, I drove back to NUH after getting my wallet. I gave her my driver's license and she said cannot, must be pink IC! WTH! Cos every other places in SG accepts license as IC what! I dont understand why must use pink IC. If she wants to prove I am Singaporean, I thought from my IC number its pretty clear?! And I already served my NS leh! All my details are with them wat! Argghh... And if someone want to fake, can also use pink IC when CPF has no money isnt it? I just cant understand the logic why must produce pink IC.
Anyway, the nurse told me I can pass the IC to her tmr. So in the end, I had to drive down today, park my car which cost me another $1.20, pass her my IC. Argghh... Damn sway lah! Took me 3 trips to get things done! Haiz.

Then, the nurse asked me for my IC and I realised I left my wallet at home!!! Damn!
Having no other choice since I will need to pay off my bills irregardless of what, I drove back home! The carpark fee was $1.20 even without seeing the doctor yet! Damn!
Then, I drove back to NUH after getting my wallet. I gave her my driver's license and she said cannot, must be pink IC! WTH! Cos every other places in SG accepts license as IC what! I dont understand why must use pink IC. If she wants to prove I am Singaporean, I thought from my IC number its pretty clear?! And I already served my NS leh! All my details are with them wat! Argghh... And if someone want to fake, can also use pink IC when CPF has no money isnt it? I just cant understand the logic why must produce pink IC.
Anyway, the nurse told me I can pass the IC to her tmr. So in the end, I had to drive down today, park my car which cost me another $1.20, pass her my IC. Argghh... Damn sway lah! Took me 3 trips to get things done! Haiz.

Great Loving Birds
We often assumed love only exist between humans when in fact, animals do go through some of the greatest love in the world. I've just received this email from a friend.
The male bird's partner was seriously injured and the condition was deteriorating.
He then takes care of her and brings her food, take care of her with great love.
When he came back the next time, she was dead. He tried to move her, not believing that she was dead.
When he realised she was dead, he cried out loud for her.
He cried out loud beside her.
Eventually he was aware that she would not return, he stood by beside her.

Yes, another movie down. I've watched 7 pounds yesterday. Trying to watch as many as I like since it is much cheaper to watch movies in Sg and not too sure if I have the time to watch movies in Aussie since I'm a huge fan og mugging. LoLz.
One of my favourtie actor, Will Smith, starred in this show. No doubt, his acting is still as great as ever. Though my favourite will still be The Legend. In this show, basically, he caused the death of 7 ppl during an accident a few years ago which then changed his life totally. Hence, he wants to give a gift to each of the 7 ppl he carefully chosen who are kind and nice fellow. He hopes to change their lives in his effort to attone his sin.
Mostly, he donated his organs and some, he gave them a house to change their miserable life. He gave out his corneal, heart, lung, liver, bone marow, house and something which I missed out. I cant rem what did he give out for the 7th person. This show is really meaningful and a bit sad towards the end and I admit I was a bit on e verge of tears but no, I did not cry.
He chose to give up his life, partly for the woman he fell in love who was in desperate need for a heart. But the way he chose to die was really a painful one. However, I did feel that the movie was a little boring halfway and since I only had 6 hours sleep the night before from the countdown party I attended with Michael, I actually fell asleep twice which explains why I missed out the 7th person.
Compare to Twilight, like what piggy says, it makes the acting of the actors of Twilight seems so immature and raw.
